Are you using Instagram? Is it party of your social media strategy? If not, you may want to re-think that (I’ll save this for another blog post) but if you are currently using Instagram, you understand how tough it could be since there are no tools out there to schedule your posts. But little do you know, there ARE tools that can help you save time and resources – many tools in fact. There are over 10 different apps that can help you get organized and schedule Instagram posts but I’ll only discuss three that I think are pretty awesome and VERY useful.
Latergramme has been around for a while and it still boggles my mind how it’s so underrated. This one is my absolute fav. It’s neat, organized and very cost efficient. Although it doesn’t actually post the photo for you on it’s own, you can schedule posts from a browser or use the mobile iOS app. Look at Latergramme as an editorial calendar just for Instagram. You can upload images from your computer or smartphone, pick a day and time that’s right for you and when that time comes, Latergramme will send you a notification right on your phone and in a matter of a couple clicks, you’ll have your post live. You can manage multiple accounts, add team members, and even upload videos too.
Cost: FREE (for 2 accounts). They have 4 different packages that start at $9.50 per month.
Besides the obvious, Hootsuite is great for not only Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, GooglePlus, and more, but they also added Instagram to the mix. Hostile will not directly post your photos or videos, but they will help you keep organized and scheduled just like Latergramme. Upload a photo through a web browser or the app, schedule it and Hootsuite will send you a push notification at the scheduled time. You will be directed to open the Instagram account and all you have to do is hit “done” and voila – your scheduled post is now published.
Cost: Hootsuite offers a free plan for up to 3 accounts. Paid options start at $9.99 per month.
Here’s another great one – especially for editing images beforehand. Unlike, Latergramme, you can physically edit the filters on images through OnlyPult. You can manage multiple Instagram accounts – up to 40 accounts (WOW), and invite other team members to schedule posts as well. If you like to use web tools over apps then you’ll find OnlyPult to be useful as it’s a web-based tool.
Cost: You can get a week’s worth free trial but their packages start at $12 per month.
Have you ever had to manage 2, 4, or even 10 Instagram accounts? I have and let me tell you, if you’re a forgetful person, you will LOVE any of the above tools. I find these platforms to help me keep organized with my Instagram posting strategy. Do you use any tools to help you with Instagram? Any tools not here on my list of fav’s? What tools do you use? Tell me which ones, and share your thoughts!
